There have been many webmasters, photographers, and content providers who have come and went on Wu's Feet Links when it comes to posting on the Wu's Forum. Someone I took immediate notice of upon arrival, however, was The Feetosopher - webmaster/photographer of Barefoot Nudity and Barefoot Urban Girls.

Although I'm not the biggest fan of dirty feet, I do find them to be sexy and/or cute when done right. The Feetosopher does them right! From the model's attitude, which he discusses below, to the awesome settings he picks for the sets, his work from both sites stood out to me instantly. Add in the fascination I have with many of his models, especially Red-X, who also has also done an interview here on the Wu's Feet Links Interviews Blog (see Red-X's August 2015 interview), and I call myself a fan!

To top things off, I'm always happy to find fellow webmasters, photographers, and models to be down to earth and generally good people. Every interaction I've had with the Feetosopher has been genuine and I knew I wanted to feature him in an interview. So I'm happy to say that he agreed and gave a look back at how his fetishes and kinks came about and his growth as a webmaster and photographer. I'm sure you'll enjoy what he had to say and I look forward to seeing more of his work in the years to come.

Some of the Basics
Do you have any size preference when it comes to female feet?
Any size will do. Also their shape has no great importance. They have to be bare, of course - and the dirtier they are, the better! It's the attitude of the "owner" of the feet which makes a real difference to me. I have to feel her joy to be barefoot and her pleasure in teasing people with her bare feet. This applies both to model recruiting for my sites and to my everyday life.

What's your favorite part of a woman's foot?
I am a Sole Man! Soles are the "forbidden" part of women's feet. You can see plenty of tops in the summer, just keeping your eyes on the ground, thanks to sandals and flip flops. But to enjoy the vista of soles, you need the "owners" to be willing to show them by kicking off their shoes. It's the all-important "attitude" factor! Women showing off rough, calloused, dirty soles knock me out. It is a bold, provocative behavior I instantly get fascinated with.

What are some of your favorite colors to see on a woman's toes? Do you also enjoy designs or non-polished toes?
I am not a big fan of designs and French pedicure. I prefer solid layers of nail polish - preferably dark tones like: black, blue, violet, green, and purple, or natural toes. I love feet to be pedicured on tops and toes, but the rougher and tougher the soles are, the better to me!

You obviously like women's feet to be bare, but are there any types of footwear that you also enjoy such as stockings, shoes, socks, etc.?
I "tolerate" all types of shoes which show a lot of the foot, and/or which allow big-time dangling - and easy-to-kick-off types, of course!

If you could film any two female celebrities showing off their dirty bare feet, who are you picking?
Oh, I have a very long list. Choosing just two of them is no easy task! OK... I am going for Penelope Cruz and Kate Winslet.

Discovering the Fetish
How old were you when you first began to notice your attraction to women's feet – even if you didn't know it was called a "fetish?"
I was three years old when I fell in love with the bare feet of a friend of my mother's who had kicked off her clogs under the table while she was having a cold drink in our house in the summer. I still have vivid memories of that beautiful lady arching her feet and spreading her toes, even after 45 years! I have been fatally attracted by bare female feet since then.

What were some of those first thoughts that ran through your head when you realized this attractions to women's feet?
It was a mix of excitement and unease. All the other kids seemed to be totally uninterested in female feet. I was afraid to be the weirdo of the pack! Only many years later I understood how many guys, and some gals too, are into feet.

How long did it take you to finally get to experience a woman's feet? How did it come about? Were you nervous at all?
It was a long, exciting, but also painful process. Hard to believe it now, but I used to be a very shy kid! In 1975, my late mommy hired a woman to help with housework. She was a pleasant woman in her early 40's, with big boobs - which became another passion of mine since then! When she sat down to mend clothes in the summer, she always kicked off her clogs and put her bare feet on the cool tiles, and wiggling her toes. When she had to switch to another task, in most cases she did not care to put her clogs on again, and walked around the house barefooted. I obviously fell in love with her!

One hot summer day, when I was 13, I was alone in the house with the busty home helper. She had forgotten her clogs somewhere, as usual. I followed her around the house like a dog, staring at those powerful bare feet. She chatted and smiled at me, and all of a sudden she asked, "Why are you looking at my feet?"

I nearly fainted, but I found the courage to reply, "Because I like them!" 

She smiled at me. I told myself, "It's now or never," so I went down on all four, with her bare feet just a few inches from my nose, and begged her, "Please [Ms. X], let me smell your feet!"

I looked at her face, towering over me, puzzled at first, but she soon came out with a big laugh and just said, "OK, if this is what you want."

In a magic instant, which seemed to last forever, she lifted the sweaty sole of her foot, and planted it on my face! That sweet cheesy aroma is still somewhere in the hard disk of my nose. It lasted just a few seconds, then she ordered, "OK, now I have to finish housework!" 

I felt terribly embarrassed, but I was also super-excited, so I flew to the bathroom. You can easily guess what I did.

As you've grown older, how, if at all, has your feelings toward your fetish changed?
The instinctive part of it has never changed. I still feel the same old butterflies in my stomach every time that I see a barefoot woman. She does not need to be attractive, but I need to feel her "attitude" that I mentioned before. I have just added "intellectual" elements to this instinctive fascination, celebrating barefooting, exhibitionist and sexually liberated women as flag-bearers of a free-spirited, bold and independent way of life.

It took me 10 years after smelling the busty home helper's feet to get in touch with another pair of bare female feet. I was at the university, and I begged a beautiful colleague I had a crush on to let me massage her fantastic feet. I insisted so much that she finally gave me such privilege for a couple of minutes, but she clearly did so to get rid of me, and the experience was humiliating and unpleasant.

I found the courage to reveal my fascination for barefoot women and bare female feet to another cute girl. I will be grateful to her forever, as she was the first one who helped me to feel comfortable about my fetish. We were sitting in her room, and after listening to my long story of 20 years of barefoot mania, she just smiled at me, kicked off her flips, put her bare feet on my knees and said, "You are a cool and sensitive guy, and I value your friendship a lot. You have free access to my feet!"

I admired, massaged, kissed and worshipped her feet for hours on that afternoon - and on many other occasions. She was also the first girl I took barefoot pics of. She always wore great smiles for me while I was taking care of her bare feet. She married some years later and I lost contact with her, but I wish her all the best!

Filming & the Internet
When did you first start publishing foot fetish content online?
I started taking analog barefoot pictures in 1992, but I had only sporadic sessions with female friends of mine back then. I switched to digital photography in September 2004. The first girl who authorized the publication of the pics was Alexis, the mother of all Barefoot Urban Girls.

By 2007 I had amassed a great amount of pictures of different girls barefooting in various Italian cities, in any season, and I started to wonder whether I could make some money, or at least have some fun out of them. I proposed my pictures to the webmasters of the few sites who covered the barefooting and dirty feet niche back then - most of them are still online today.

Hal of Toes-In-Action was the only one who cared to reply. He was enthusiastic about the fact that we had developed a very similar style without even knowing each other. I proposed him to exchange his barefooting videos with my photo sets and he agreed. The first contribution by The Feetosopher to his site, starring Cleo barefooting in Padua, went online on June 08, 2007. I will always be indebted to Hal. His support has been critical for the development of my projects, including Barefoot Nudity. I started to build a presence on internet after the publication of my first sets on Toes-In-Action.

Was foot fetish content your first venture online, or did you start with something else?
No, it was my first, and I would not be interested in developing online ventures which have nothing to do with my personal icon of beauty and freedom - the barefoot woman.

In addition to your foot fetish work on Barefoot Urban Girls, you also run Barefoot Nudity – a site that focuses a little bit more on public nudity. Is this also a kink of yours?
Definitely yes! It traces back to a 30-something barefooting neighbor of mine - more about her later. A great quality of hers was her disdain for underwear in the summer. She wore skimpy dresses, and I had the luck of enjoying breathtaking peek-a-boo vistas of her saggy boobs and super-hairy kitten more than once in my early teens.

The point of no return was a 1986 summer holiday on the coast of the former Yugoslavia. With the boiling testosterone of a teenager, I received 15-days of shock treatment on a beach where the only rule was total anarchy! I was constantly surrounded by a crazy mix of grannies in old-fashioned full swimsuits, quiet mothers in decent bikinis, topless women of all ages with boobs of all sizes and shapes, and hordes of totally naked females ranging from their late teens to their late 60's - all of them without any inhibition! Under a heavy crossfire of pendulous boobs, wobbly asses, gaping hairy pussies and bare feet, I wore XL-size NFL jerseys to hide the permanent erections in my swimming pants! When I came back home, I was totally wrecked! I have been obsessed with female exhibitionism and public nudity ever since.

How long have both of your sites been online now?
I started uploading content in June 2013, but Barefoot Nudity and Barefoot Urban Girls went online on December 15, 2013. So it's over two years.

How have you seen those sites grow over time? What have you learned along the way?
To put everything in the proper context, I have to say that my sites are a weekends only operation, and that I earn a living on a regular job which has nothing to do with footography. My sites are basically a hobby for me, but I take it seriously. They are a way of self-financing shootings I could never afford, especially the nude ones.

Barefoot Nudity has been an unexpected success. When I launched it, the "purists" of barefoot girl photography, who see nudity as porn, voiced their contempt. I found a much better attitude in the adult section of the Wu's Foot Forum, on Tumblr, and on DeviantArt. After two years of operations, it is actually Barefoot Nudity which funds the sessions for Barefoot Urban Girls, which is not self-sustaining.

Barefoot Urban Girls has to compete with sites which have been online since the early 2000's – trying to win new subscribers is a tough job. This said, I enjoy running both sites, regardless of the different profitability.

As for lessons learned.

1. Enthusiastic comments and popularity in forums and social networks are enjoyable, but do not automatically translate into lots of loyal subscribers. Everybody loves you when you give away quality stuff for free. The tough part is getting people to pay some dollars to enjoy your stuff. 
2. You cannot please everybody, even in the apparently narrow niches I operate in. There are potential customers with super-focused, very peculiar and quasi-obsessive tastes. If you want to please them, you will probably lose the more mainstream ones. 

How has the reaction been from fans?
As I said, some chaps probably see me as the villain who threw so called porn into their beloved niche. Posts about Barefoot Nudity hardly get a comment in some forums. Not that I cannot understand the shock of those dudes in seeing their oh-so-decent barefoot heroines stark naked, spread-eagled, stuffing cucumbers in both holes and having lesbian sex! I only say that a free-spirited girl who takes pleasure in walking around barefooted and in showing off her dirty soles, and who loves to think that thousands of guys are jerking off at her bare feet, is also very likely to be into showing off other body parts. She's probably a sexually liberated girl too. My only fault is to have brought the exhibitionist side of those girls to the surface. Truth be told, I can also count on a bunch of faithful and passionate followers, who have enthusiastically welcomed Barefoot Nudity.

If you could say anything to those who have supported you along the way, what would it be?
Just a huge thank you, and the best wishes from my heart!

I count myself as one of the fans of your work. I love so many things about what you do, but one of the big ones is your settings. Do you go out of your way to find interesting places to shoot?
Well, many thanks again, Patrick! The answer is yes, of course. I started with landscape photography as a teenager. I love urban settings and I have always been fascinated with industrial and post-industrial locations. A beautiful model makes the most of a great shot, but adding a beautiful setting surely does no harm! Settings are of paramount importance especially in Barefoot Nudity. I am totally uninterested in studio photography, and I am pretty much of a disaster when I shoot indoors.

Another thing I love about your work is the models you work with. You're fully aware of my major crush on Red-X, but so many of the girls you shoot have a very unique look. Is there a certain “look” you go for when seeking models?
I would not say that I go after a certain "look." Sure my approach to model recruiting is focused on faces and on the infamous "attitude." Not all my models have great feet and great bodies, but most of them have great faces, or at least interesting faces, and you can clearly see that they love posing and showing off. Most female bare feet are exciting to me, especially when tested on tough surfaces They don't need to be perfect, but they need to be alive!

I sure have been lucky in finding so many great models in my 12-year career, and even more so in making good friends with some of them such as: Swains, Alyssa, Arianna, Uma and Eyluh of the Barefoot Urban Girls roster, and Chat Noir, Eynadl, Oxana and Red-X in the Barefoot Nudity one.

I can honestly say that you, and your models, certainly have some "balls," so to speak, when it comes to what you shoot and where you shoot it. How was it shooting some of the public nudes, or insertion sets when you first began?
The fact that the only true love of my life was a die hard naturist and barefooter resulted in my first ever outdoor nude pictures in the early 2000's. They were pretty explicit ones, including pissing action and masturbation. We were in the countryside and it was definitely an exciting experience, even if the risk of being caught was relatively limited. Those pictures were more of an erotic game between lovers, however.

In the late 2000's I had the luck of getting a few of my Barefoot Urban Girls to model naked outdoors as they had already tried nude modeling with their lovers. I discovered that the great issue with nude photography is getting the models to authorize publication. If you formally guarantee that the dirty stuff will remain a private affair between you and the model, you will find many girls happy to expose their hidden treasures. It's a shame that I will forever remain the only dude to enjoy super-hot explicit nudes of a few fantastic Barefoot Urban Girls beyond suspicion!

The first models ever to authorize the publication of nude pictures were Janina and Kira of Toes-In-Action, in July 2010. I have included a famous shot from that memorable outdoor session, held in a disused rail yard in Germany, with Hal as an assistant. The thrill of shooting two Toes-In-Action superstars stark naked and spread-eagled in a fantastic location, with trains passing in the background, pushed me to find Italian models willing to put their face on outdoor nude pictures.

Chat Noir was the first. She was just 19 at the time, but she was already bold. She loved exhibitionism and had a natural talent for guerrilla-style nude shootings. In her first session she flashed her titties right in front of the residence of the Bishop of Verona! Two weeks later, she was already fully naked under her raincoat, flashing wildly and assuming explicit poses with unaware people all around her. I was super-thrilled, so I decided to find other models willing to do such kind of shoots, and to start my Barefoot Nudity project.

The first model ever to pose for insertion and pissing videos was Vega Bausch. She was an exhibitionist at heart, and delivered some insane stunts on her first shoot, including anal pounding with a giant cucumber on a city sightseeing bus. A tourist was sitting just two rows ahead of her!

Have you come up with some tricks or methods along the way that make shooting content like that a little risky?
I have studied a lot to devise an approach to public flashing which results in highly spectacular pictures and videos with little or no risk for me, and especially for the model, who would face the worst consequences and a hefty fine for sure, if picked while strutting her crown jewels, or pleasing herself. This implies an accurate study of the locations, a well-coordinated interaction between me and the models, perfect timing, prudence and extreme attention by everybody involved as I often shoot with an assistant. I must be the only one seeing what the model is exposing.

Ever been caught by anyone? What was the reaction like?
No, never. I got close to this on a few occasions, but nobody actually saw the model's naked body. They might have guessed what was going on, but they would have needed X-ray eyes to see her tits or pussy, so they did not dare to complain. I mean, I love explicit female nudity and erotica, but I also have total respect for people who are not into this. So I and the models always take extreme care in avoiding any potential incident, especially when there are kids around. I do not want to argue with anybody, and I do not want to cause scandal.

What do you think makes the whole idea of possibly getting caught a turn on for people?
I know that this might sound rather weird, but it's a topic I haven't explored that much. I am into women who love to show off, but I am not into showing off myself. I know for sure that some of my models such as Red-X and Blue Ice, for instance, get super-excited at the very thought of getting caught because they have told me. I haven't asked this question to the other ones, as it would not be very professional. I see that some quickly get very wet, so I guess that they get excited.

Okay, now to spin this a little more back on the foot fetish aspect here. What do you think, is the reason why there are so many people who enjoy dirty bare feet?
I think that there are a number of reasons, whose importance varies according to the subject. Some see dirty feet as the trademark of their heroine, the barefooting woman, but would never kiss or lick dirty feet. Others love submission and humiliation from dominant, dirty-soled women. Some of these people just fantasize about this, other get excited when actually worshipping dirty feet. There are also those who have a sadistic attitude - they fantasize about forcing women to walk barefoot in filthy places like public toilets and stables and/or in painful conditions such as scorching hot or rough surfaces, on broken glass, nailbeds, etc. as a form of dominance.

A you said above, you enjoy shooting what you love. How long into discovering your foot fetish did you begin to notice the dirty feet aspect?
When I was five my family moved to another house. Our new neighbor, as I said, was an attractive woman in her early 30's, who had the healthy habit of systematically walking barefoot inside her house and also in her backyard in spring and summer. Her soles were black 24/7 for months! I spent hours spying her from the window of my room. I had butterflies in my stomach day in and day out!

The passion for women barefooting in the street came when I spotted the first ones - two beautiful German tourists in Verona, Italy when I was 15. I have been a keen hunter of barefooting beauties in the street since then. If you add the fact that the only true love of my life was, and still is, a frequent barefooter in spring and summer, you will understand my fascination with dirty bare feet. This said, while I love to admire and to massage dirty feet, I am definitely not into licking them. I love to wash dirty feet with water and soap, and to worship them once they are clean.

Are you also a fan of clean, bare feet then? Do you shoot that at all?
I have never shot clean feet for my projects. Dirty bare feet are my trademark. Most of my followers would strongly disapprove any clean feet stuff by me.

In my private life, yet, I enjoy clean, or not so dirty, at least, bare feet a lot. I especially love to test the attitude of women who relax themselves by putting their bare feet on the seat before them on trains. I take the free seat beside their feet, wearing a great smile. I then I look at their bare feet with great gusto and see if they have the balls to leave them there.

Some initially take them off, but put them on the seat again after they have realized that I am into bare feet. Others, the boldest ones that I love most, leave their feet there and often put on a hell of a foot show! The rest, a minority, I would say, shyly hide them in their shoes for the rest of the trip and get very low marks from The Feetosopher!

Where do you see yourself and your sites going in the future? Any immediate plans, or things you're looking to do?
I am fully committed to keep both Barefoot Nudity and Barefoot Urban Girls alive and kicking for many years to come as long as free time, health and revenues allow, of course. I would really like to make Barefoot Urban Girls self-sustaining. I have made some upgrades, above all, the switch to the same 1080 x 600 HD video format which became standard for Barefoot Nudity this year. I will invest more time and money into shoots, including bikini ones, and into recruiting new models.

As for Barefoot Nudity, I would like to do more full nudity shoots in industrial or post-industrial locations. I will surely keep on expanding the roster with exciting new models, and I will make the customary European Tour this summer – with the model being top-secret, of course!

Any final thoughts or items you'd like to say before we conclude the interview?
Barefoot beauties, foot fetish photography and the launch of my sites surely saved me from depression and from a very sad life. I warmly encourage everybody to fight hard to make his or her dreams real. It is the best way to feel alive.

Alice's Interview (Soles of Silk)

If you've been keeping up with the Wu's Feet Links Columns Blog, or with Soles of Silk, then you know Alice and her big size 11 feet. Alice began posing for me less than a year ago and has really taken to it and the fetish. Reading all of your comments over these last few months has opened her eyes to the true appeal of her long toes and soles - something she didn't always realize.

During one of Alice's 11 sets shot in 2015 she made a comment that inspired me to write last month's column, "Bigger Feet = More! And More is Better..." With such a great response to that piece, I thought people would love to read everything she had to say when I interviewed her for it. My original plan was to include her words in this month's column piece, "Big Female Feet Preference - The Interviews," but I then I had an idea. What if I expanded on that interview with even more questions and made it a full length interview here on the Wu's Feet Links Interviews Blog? Needless to say, when I asked Alice if she'd like to take part, she couldn't text back a "yes" fast enough.

I can't say enough kind words about Alice, all that she's done, and all that she continues to do for Soles of Silk, and now, Wu's Feet Links. Since this blog was established in July 2014, she's the only Soles of Silk original to take part in an interview. I didn't even hesitate to ask her to do something like this over other longtime models found on my site either. Her enthusiasm for everything she's done up to this point made her an obvious choice. I knew she'd give some fun, yet honest, answers. And yes, I made sure to sneak in a few questions that were a little more naughty than what you'll find on Soles of Silk. What size shoes do you wear?

I wear size 11's. 

What are some of your favorite kind of shoes to wear, or what are some of your favorites that you own?

I love my Vans tennis shoes and sandals.

As you're well aware, one of the things I love about women's feet is when they're sweaty and even smelly. Do your feet get sweaty and are there any particular shoes that do the trick?
Honestly, my feet are pretty sweaty 80 percent of the time. Slip on shoes make them sweat the most though - you know, like the cute little dress flat shoes? Yeah, I try not to wear those too much because my feet sweat and smell pretty damn bad when I take them off!

Are those big feet ticklish? If so, what spots are the most ticklish?

The soles of my feet are pretty ticklish.

I know you've been looking to wear some foot jewelry in your sets. What kinds do you own? Do you like toe rings?

When I was younger I used to wear toe rings a lot. Unfortunately, I don't own any right now, but I'm hoping to buy a few for the summer.

We have done two sets, both still unpublished, with stockings. The first was in a black pair of Cuban Heel pantyhose and the second were in sheer nude thigh highs. Do you enjoy stockings? If so, what kinds are your favorite?

I absolutely love stockings, pantyhose, socks, and everything between! I love to wear my thigh high lace stockings with knee high socks, and boots. I don't have a particular style I like the most. I love lace, opaque tights, fishnets, fuzzy socks, and all. In the winter, almost every outfit consists of a pair of stockings.

What foot fetish activity do you enjoy the most? I know you've admitted to me that you started to venture out a little with your feet and see what the fetish is all about.

Ever since I began posing, I began to learn how to angle my feet certain ways, wiggle my toes, how to rub them together and make it look good, etc. I became so interested in foot fetishism. I ask you stuff all the time. Then my boyfriend and I both wanted to try new things so I gave my first footjob! And well, posing my feet pretty much made me a natural at using them. I had so much fun doing it too! My feet were bigger than you know what - which I know that can be a turn on to some. I just felt so in control over him, and he enjoyed it as well. 

If you could have any famous person at your feet for some foot fetish fun, who would you pick and what is going to be happening?

Hmm, that's an interesting question with me being so insecure about my feet. Umm, I guess it would be Jack Black. I heard he has a foot fetish and he's absolutely hilarious!

Discovering the Fetish

Do you know about how old you were when you first found out that there was a thing called a foot fetish?

I was probably 16, when I started my first job. One of the girls made a joke about my large feet and said, "Don't let Patrick see them." I, of course, asked why and they said you have a foot fetish. I just thought it was a joke, to be honest. 

Once you learned about foot fetishism, and perhaps some of what is associated with it, what were your feeling toward the whole idea that someone might adore, or be turned on by a woman's feet?

When I was first introduced to foot fetishism I thought it was a joke, honestly. I was a little judgmental and thought it was weird. I was always teased about my feet so I never thought they could be seen as beautiful until I started the photos. I always hated my feet - they were always just too darn big!

Has your feelings changed about the fetish at all since you began posing for Soles of Silk? If so, in what ways has it changed?

Before you ever modeled for Soles of Silk you used to tell me how much you loved modeling for your friends in school. Have you always enjoyed being in front of the camera?
I've always loved having my picture taken. I love being in front of the camera. It always makes me feel so pretty and in control, with the focus on me and all about me. 

Who are some of your biggest aspirations when it comes to modeling - fetish or not? Whose work do you enjoy?
Bettie Page, is my favorite model ever. Her work is just so beautiful. She knew her body from head to toe. She knew how to stand, how to point her toes, tilt her chin - all of it. No, I never believed my feet would be something people are attracted to at all.

I had told you before you even posed that there are people out there that adore bigger feet, even prefer them. Did you believe me when I told you those things, or did you just think I was trying to convince you to model for me?
I certainly did not believe you at first. Sometimes I thought it was just sarcastic comments about me having big feet, because I was so used to anytime someone talk about my feet they were making fun of them. But you weren't. You were serious and seeing everyone's comments made me feel really good about myself. 

How did all those sarcastic comments make you feel growing up?
When I was younger I grew to hate my feet, I even began wearing socks when I went swimming. I have endured a lifetime of "playful" jokes, and comments. I would pretend they didn't bother me, but eventually I became very self conscious about my large feet. I couldn't wear certain sneakers because the cut made my foot look huge in my size. Then as I got older I began to just care less. 

What's the hardest, or most annoying thing about having size 11 feet as a female?
Shopping for shoes! I find a shoe I really like, I ask, "Do you have these in size 11's?" And they reply, "No we don't have those shoes after size 9" or something like that. It gets so frustrating that I began to hate shopping for shoes - and I love shopping!

I want to be totally honest with you here. For many years I was in the small feet camp. I adored little feet, although I slowly began to appreciate all sizes once I began shooting more and more models. Even though you're not the first girl I've shot in the double digits shoe size range, something about your feet and/or you, has sparked an all new fondness for big feet. How does it feel to know that your size 11's have inspired that admiration in me?

That day we shot your first two sets, what kind of thoughts were running through your head? Did it feel odd having a camera focused on your feet?
At first, I was super nervous, but after the first few pictures I was starting to love it. The Fast Food set was when I was definitely comfortable with being in front of the camera. I had so much fun, and you always makes me laugh and you're very easy to be around. 

When I first posted your first ever preview shots to the Soles of Silk Instagram (@SolesofSilk) and Twitter (@SolesofSilk) accounts, were you at all worried about what people might say?
I honestly just didn't think people would say anything at all. I didn't expect to get so my likes or retweets. Everything seems to be just so positive and it's so sweet.

Once all the likes and positive comments began pouring in for those previews, did it make you feel a little more at ease about your feet in any way? Did it confirm any of those things I had mentioned to you before you posed?
Oh definitely! I'm much more comfortable with not only my feet myself in general. But now when I paint my toes, I began flaunting them a little bit. I love showing off my pictures too! My friends love the chicken nugget set.

Now that you've had numerous sets published and lots of previews for your future sets, what would you like to say to all your fans? And believe me, you have them!
I would just like to say thank you like seriously! There are numerous comments from some of you that I remember. I have a mental list of "Alice's favorite comments from fans" in my head. I read every comment too, and I smile every single time! So thank you guys!

Of all the sets that have been published to the site thus far, which one is your favorite?
My favorite set is my Fast Food set. It was one of my first sets and one of the most fun for three reasons: 1) I got to eat McDonald's, which I love. 2) It was an ode to another great model, Whitney Morgan. 3) And did I say it was just fun?

Right now there are a handful of sets of yours waiting to be published. What one(s) are you most looking forward to seeing on the site?
My Bettie Page book set (see below). From the previews I've seen, I just feel so confident In them. I love the way I was dressed and looked. Plus, I got to hold a book full of photos of one of my role models! That definitely gave me encouragement. 

I can't lie, one of the sets of yours that I'm most looking forward to publishing is your Gummi Dicks set (see below). The whole size teasing and tease/denial theme is a popular request. That's my favorite part. Knowing your job is to only take pictures, but also knowing you're going to be enjoying it just as much as the viewers - it takes me back to the tease and denial thing. Seeing your long toes and tall, slender soles next to Jasey Rae's small, chubby toes and pillow like soles, is probably going to be the biggest contrasts between two sets of feet that I've ever shot. How neat do you think that contrast is going to look once captured on the camera?
I'm sure is going to be a big contrast. Two different size and shaped feet next to each other should be interesting. When did the sets with Camille, I was worried that my feet would look too big next to hers, but it actually turned out really good in the photos. I know everyone will enjoy those and these ones with Jasey. 

The side by side size difference theme really is a popular one. Give us some more details on what it was like posing with Camille for those two sets.
At first I was almost embarrassed because Camille has the cutest feet honestly, and I was like mine compared to hers look bad. But then after I got my toes done I was like, "Hey, my piggies look cute." Then we began shooting together it was just fun, actually became really funny to me seeing my feet next to hers. 

Camille wears a size 7 shoe and Jasey Rae wears a size 7.5. Would you be up for me finding yet another model with even smaller feet to pose next to yours? You could corner the market on this theme.
I would love too! It was a lot of fun pairing up with another model and shooting together. I'm sure I would tower over most of these girls piggies on the site.

During one of our more recent sets you mentioned that posing for Soles of Silk has made you feel more comfortable about your feet. That made me smile. Would you care to elaborate on how your feelings have changed since you began to pose and what things have led to that change in feeling?
My feet are long, skinny, with toes the length of fingers. I was always made fun of for having long toes, and big feet in general. Now I look at my feet and I realize hey they're not so bad - kind of cute actually. And I know how to use them, if you get what I'm saying. I just am more thoughtful towards my feet now, I make sure to lotion them everyday, try and keep my toe nails painted, and not walk on the tough ground barefoot. I'm starting to take pride in my big feet.

That one comment you made connected with me so much. It ultimately inspired me to write the December 2015 Wu's Feet Links Columns Blog entry, "Bigger Feet = More! And More is Better..." When I approached you about that topic and asked to interview you for it, how did that make you feel?
I was flattered that I was asked to take part in that. Just knowing people may want to hear from me and get to know my opinion is so sweet. I'm glad you let me do that, even though I procrastinated somewhat. I got it done though!

That column really increased your popularity on the site, as I am sure this interview will just add to it. I really appreciate you helping out with these items, especially because of how I view Wu's Feet Links, and especially the late, Wu, himself. Have you enjoyed getting to take part in these little side projects as a representative of Soles of Silk?
Honestly, I absolutely loved it. You're asking me questions no one has asked before and I have to think about them. I get to know myself some more. I like being asked questions. I like to think and I like for people to listen. 

I've already told you that I want to shoot you as often as possible here in 2016. Are there any ideas, locations, or themes you have in mind that you'd like to do? Other than that one with Jasey Rae that I'm not going to be able to stand up after, obviously...
Well, I still want to do some more pin up themes, where I dress just like a pin up girl would. Maybe copy a Bettie Page outfit and set idea? I would also love to do a beach set out in the water - digging my toes into the sand. But in all honestly, I'll do any set you ask me to do. I have fun with them all.

I figured out where this guy was posting our videos, since he refused to tell us. It turns out it was Clips4Sale, so I opened my own store and ran with it. SarahDiavola.com redirects to Clips4Sale.com/14248.

Where do you see your site and work going in the future?
I've always had a hard time focusing on building my empire, but that has recently changed. My site and my work are going straight to the bank, no stops.

Adam's Interview (Feet Fair)

This interview is one I've wanted to do for some time. Right around the time I began putting my first foot fetish photos online, back in my college days, there was a site whose work I really admired. It was called Pretty Feet Pictures. I reached out to the photographer/web master of the site, Adam, and found him to be a very cool, down to earth kind of guy. I instantly considered him one of my friends in the ever-so-growing, online foot fetish community.

Over our years online, things have changed for the both of us, but Adam's game really took off when he changed Pretty Feet Pictures into his current site, Feet Fair. Many of us have come to know his photography and we all have different favorites when it comes to his many, top notch models.

A few months ago Adam contacted me personally to tell me that he was thinking of wrapping up production on Feet Fair. He asked me not to say anything until he was certain. Shortly thereafter, he made the same announcement on the Wu's Feet Links Forum. Needless to say, many of us were sad to hear of the news, but we all respect Adam for the hard work and dedication in bringing us some of the best foot fetish photos online.

Now that Adam has made his announcement public, I asked him to take part in a interview here on the Wu's Feet Links Interview Blog. I wanted to get to know him a little bit better than I already did and give him a chance to tell us some of his stories from his days growing up with a foot fetish, to his early days online, through today.

Some of the Basics

Right off the bat, does size matter when it comes to female feet? Do you have a preference?
Not really. When it comes to feet, shape matters more than size, in my opinion. A model can have beautiful, high arched small feet - Danica's size 5's comes to mind. Or have large high arched feet, like Annette's size 10 toots.

What's your favorite part of a woman's foot? I think we all know this one, but I have to ask it anyhow.
Like most foot fetishist, I’m partial to soles, but I like thick heels just as much. There's nothing sexier to me than seeing a thick heeled woman, from behind, wearing a pair of thin stiletto mules.

What's your favorite when it comes to polish? Any particular colors or designs that you prefer?
I don't care for designs at all, nor do I like French pedicures, so solid colors for me please. My favorite color for nails is probably midnight blue. There are some models, like my bud Giovanna, that wear clear polish best though.

Do you enjoy stockings at all? If so, what kinds?
Yes, I like stockings. The more old fashioned the better. I'm partial to seamed stockings with Cuban heels, and they must be sheer enough to allow a good look at the foot. Seeing side wrinkles like Anastasia's, peeking out of a pair of sheer stockings, means instant boner time for me.

Dream scenario here. If you could have any two celebrities pose their feet for you, who would you pick?
Oww! This is a hard one. Nicole Kidman has really nice arches. Of course, Carmen Electra has outstanding tootsies herself. Then there is Mandy Moore. To be honest, I'm not into that whole Hollywood celebrity thing much, as I prefer foreign films with sub-titles. Yes, I'm that guy. 

I did run into some pics of Yvonne de Carlo the other day, and I'll be damned if that lady didn't have awesome arches. I was a huge fan of The Munsters when I was a little kid, but I never even though about Lilly's feet then. I was actually much more interested in her boobs when I hit puberty, because she always wore that low-cut bosom dress in that show.

Discovering the Fetish

What are your earliest memories when it comes to foot fetishism? Do you know about how old you were when you first began to notice women's feet?
Wow, I was a little boy, and not even living in the United States then. I was born in a beautiful Caribbean town, where everyone knew everyone, and if they didn't, they still greeted each other - sort of like a Hispanic version of Mayberry.  

Back then I had a neighbor who was very petite, I'm talking probably Snooki small, because even when I was about  six or seven, she didn't seem all that much taller than me. Anyways, like Snooki, she had a deep tan and looked like she could have been Indian or Middle Eastern, with tiny, probably size 4, feet. Nevertheless, they were beautifully shaped, with a sweet arch, and a nice contrast between her light soles and darker feet. I was pre-pubescent then, but I just remember being mesmerized by her feet, as well as the feet of one of my doughty aunts. 

My neighbor also always wore flip flops, and would always sit on her front porch and entertain anyone who came a calling, from adults to little kids. She was always dangling her sandals, and arching her feet, but if anyone else besides me noticed, I couldn't tell you.

When you first began to realize that you liked female feet, how did that make you feel? Were you embarrassed by those feelings like many people were/are?
When I was about 10 years old, I remember discovering my dad's girly magazine stash, and being mildly curious as well as a bit repulsed. I mean, at that age, girls are still kind of icky, aren't they? I didn’t pay them that much mind, but a year after, as I was ready to start puberty, I found the stash again, and this time I remember being really interested. 

The only magazine I remember was an old one from the 1950's which had two topless blonde girls, washing a car outdoors while wearing shorts and white five inch mules. All the pics were in black and white, and this being the 50's, the girls had that platinum Marilyn Monroe look, but they both had big boobs. Now I think that maybe my father "accidentally" left those mags where they would easily be found, to sort of "jump start" my puberty, but who knows?

Do you remember your first foot fetish "score," if you will - the first time you actually had a girl allow you access to her feet?
Yeah, back when I was in my late teens, I developed a ridiculous crush on a very cute blonde with very straight hair from New Jersey - so I will call her Blondie. We hung out a bit, but she made it very clear she liked me, but just as a friend. I must say that I was crestfallen when I told her that I wanted to date her seriously, and she shot me down. 

We still hung out, and I remember hanging out at her apartment late on a Friday night, and drinking cheap wine with her cute roommate Megan, who incidentally had introduced me to her. Turns out that Megan had a crush on me, and had very nice size 6 feet of her own, but I was so blinded by Blondie at that point, I didn’t even consider her roomie. Megan drank a bit too much, and finally excused herself and went to bed, while Blondie and I stayed in the living room and chatted late into the night. Being a bit tipsy, and having resigned myself that I was never going to score with Blondie, but because she was always very affectionate to me anyway, I asked her if I could massage her feet. 

At the time Blondie had a job in which she stood most of the time. She readily accepted, and groaned her approval when I laid her face down on the sofa, and started to work my knuckles on her tired size 8 soles. After a bit of that, I casually picked up one foot, and gave it a quick little kiss. Instead of rejecting it, she just laid there placidly, which emboldened me to continue to stroke and kiss her silky smooth toots. To make a long story short, after about 20 minutes, I found myself completely lost in her amazing soles. Blondie had a moderate arch, but her feet were very graceful, milky white and flawless. No bunions, warts, cuts or hair for this young lady - just pure foot perfection. 

As I continued, I started to get more aggressive, sucking her toes, licking her soles, and putting her heels in my mouth. Rather than protest, she managed to stammer, "Wow dude, that’s magic," before passing out on the couch. I had to gently get up, and run into the bathroom to relieve myself, before quietly taking my leave for the night. 

I actually felt very awkward around her after that because, while she considered what happened a very pleasant non-sexual experience for her, I couldn't say the same for myself, of course. We hung out a few more time after that, but never at her place and never at night - not because we didn't want to, it just never came up again. We then slowly drifted away after Megan got a boyfriend, and they moved away. I'll never forget that first experience, where I was able to freely express my fetish without fear of ridicule or rejection.

Did any of the females early on know about your fetish? Did you share that with them, or just keep it to yourself? If you told them did, how did they react to it?
As far as I know, besides Blondie, who must have figured out I had a foot fetish after the night we spent together, I'm not sure anyone else knew about my fetish. I was a bit shy around girls as a teen, and didn't really date much. 

The next person that found out that I had a foot fetish was my first serious, long term girlfriend. It's a weird story, when I met Dina (not her real name), I was only 19 and she was already 32. She had been a flower child back in the 60's and had ran away to San Francisco to drop acid, and do the hippie thing. In spite of our age difference, we got along well, and had sex after our second date. Because I was in the closet about my fetish at the time, I forced myself not to pay much attention to her feet, but that first time we had sex, I saw then in their full glory, and was having my way with them before too long. At this point I must mention that Dina had huge boobs, but even more important for me, huge arches, and her feet would have fit in very well with the likes of Annette, Mona Lisa, Sabrina, and the rest of my high arched models. Needless to say, having access to her feet on an almost daily basis, gave me the chance to indulge my fetish to the hilt. I promptly lost count of how many times I kissed, licked, fucked, and came on her amazing feet. 

The problem was that because of our age difference, she was very insecure of our relationship, especially among girls my age, so we fought a lot. Even though our relationship lasted some four years, it just became unsustainable after a while. I eventually started dating another girl, and even though Dina and I remained friends, we slowly drifted away and eventually lost contact with each other.

Filming & the Internet

You and I go back to about the same time on the Internet when it comes to posting foot fetish pictures. I was a huge fan of Pretty Feet Pictures (PFP) when I was starting out. Could you give us some background about when and how that site came about before Feet Fair was ever even a thought?
When the Internet started to blow up, I found a few places where I could find foot fetish pictures that I could enjoy in the privacy of my own home. I thought I died and went to heaven. I'm surprised my pecker didn’t fall off, if you know what I mean. 

Before starting PFP, I was already thinking of starting a site where I could post free pics of girls' feet, but it would be more in a forum style. At the time I had a cute little German neighbor who had a crush on me. I never did anything with her because I was already in a serious relationship, but nevertheless, she pretty much did anything I asked of her. 

One day, when we were hanging out at her place, I asked her to show me her feet, and then asked if I could take pictures of them. She seemed tickled that I like her feet, after all, the girl really liked me and was very eager to please. Things got weird when I asked if I could post the on the Internet. These were just feet pics, mind you, nothing above the ankles, but the idea of strangers whacking off to her feet really freaked her out, so I gave up on the forum idea. 

It wasn’t until about a year later when another photographer introduced me to, my now good friend, Skye, that things got rolling. At the time, Skye was working for a small New York City modeling agency and commuting from Boston. Skye is an uncommonly sweet and gracious person. One day, while doing an outdoor Fashion shoot, I asked her if I could take some pics of her toes. She was wearing a pair of gorgeous blue wedge sandals and seemed intrigued as to why I would want to take pictures of her feet. I came clean and told her that I have a fetish and was thinking of starting a new site. She then said, "Wow! Cool! Maybe I can be one of your models." 

It was as simple as that. Afterward, every time I met a new model, I would just ask if they would be interested. Those who were who I photographed when I began.

How long was PFP online?
I’m embarrassed to say... I don’t really know. Maybe two years?

Describe what the foot fetish landscape was like back in those early days.
I have to say it was a mixed bag. Like Skye, there were some models that were curious and adventurous, so they wanted to try it. There were others, who like my neighbor, hated the idea of any part of themselves being publicly displayed. I just worked with what I had disposable to me at the time.

How was the fan reaction and interaction back during the days of PFP?
It's was beyond anything I could have expected and extremely positive. That's part of why I've been at it for so long.

How did you go about finding models to pose for you in the early on?
At first, it was mostly word of mouth. I met Tera through the same photographer who introduced me to Skye - as well as a number of my early models. After a while, I started placing ads in places like Craigslist, mostly to mixed results. I didn't start getting more professional models until I started placing ads on One Model Place, and later Model Mayhem.

I adored quite a few of your models during the PFP run. Who, would you say, were some of your stand out models from that time period?
Besides Skye and Tera, I had a tall, dark skinned Brazilian model - I think she went by the name of Masya. She was amazing. Not a huge arch, but some of the softest soles I've ever seen.

What were some of the other sites, magazines, photographers, etc. out there, if any, that inspired you to do what you did?
Without a doubt, my first inspiration was Leg Show Magazine. I've also always loved Ed Fox's work. He is truly outstanding.

At what point did you decide that it was time to close PFP and change over to Feet Fair? Can you tell us why that choice was made and what, if any, were the things that you set out to make Feet Fair different than PFP?
Some of my first models worked for free because they were just doing it for fun. I always felt a bit uneasy about that since we never signed any modeling releases. I think I decided to start a more professional site because I wanted to work with more models, who weren't friends of mine and wouldn't necessarily work for free. 

PFP was hosted on Angelfire. Do you remember them? That meant it had a very looooong URL and lots of ads. That is okay if you're doing a free site, but I wanted to do something a bit more professional, including a better name. The name "Pretty Feet Pictures" just didn't cut it for me after a while. 

I considered many other names before I settled on Feet Fair, but I knew that it was going to be a professional site. That meant I would have to pay the models and charge membership fees. I also knew that to get The Fair to the next level, I would have to use a professional studio where models could do costume changes, their hair, and make-up in complete privacy. That's actually part of the reason why I haven't made as much money from my site as many would think. There are some things I just won't compromise though. 

What year did Feet Fair debut?
Not real sure, but I think it was 1999.

Once the change was made to Feet Fair, did you go about finding models in the same way as you did with PFP?
I started getting lots of references from models. For example, shortly after I started working with Francine, she introduced me to Grace and Sakura, and a few other Asian models who didn't quite pan out. I also started using Model Mayhem more as a recruiting tool.

Speaking of recruiting models, do you find that the Internet has brought a greater knowledge to foot fetishism as a whole? Do you think that has influenced more models to accept foot fetish jobs with photographers than in the past?
Without a doubt, the Internet has helped immensely in the acceptance and understanding of the foot fetish community. I feel we still have a long way to go, however. As with any liberation movement or social cause, changes are often incremental and setbacks are common. 

I personally do some commercial photography work too, and even though I'm very proud of my work at Feet Fair, I don't go telling everyone about. Some people are still freaked out by anything fetish related, no matter how mild. I like call fetish the other "F" word.

At this point, you've shot a bunch of different models for Feet Fair. Just like with PFP, I adore a great many of these women. Who would you say are some of your stand outs today, or from the entirety of your Feet Fair era?
Oh man, talk about being put on the spot. It's like asking someone to rank their children in order of preference. I've worked with some many great models - with some bitches and stiffs thrown in the mix. Narrowing them down would be daunting, although those that know me well, know my absolute favorites.

How has the reception for Feet Fair been over the years? How has the way that people give you feedback, or interact with you changed over the years as the Internet has grown?
I'm very humbled by the fact that I've had almost no negative feedback in the all the years my site has been around. I always take the time to write back to anyone who takes the time to reach out to me.

I'm sure you've gotten asked plenty of times over the years, "How can I make my own site?" Without going into all the details, because there are tons, what kind of things were involved with you and your schedule to keep Feet Fair going?
My "secret" is that I work in spurts, often taking naps when I can. For anyone thinking of starting a site, just be aware that it will take just about all your spare time, especially if you have a day job.

Not too long ago you made a post on the Wu's Feet Links Forum that you were looking to wind down Feet Fair. You've had a long run with content people will remember for many years. What factors contributed to that decision?
Like I stated, I'm just feeling burned out lately and doing the work required to run the site to my satisfaction has become a burden. I'm not going to give you guys my age, because I just don't give out personal information, but let's just say I'm not getting any younger. I'm tired of the hustle involved in the day to day running of Feet Fair.

What are your plans moving forward? Are you still going to involved in the foot fetish scene in any way, or are you stepping back completely?
Well, I plan to remain a moderator on Wu's Feet Links Forum as long as Phil will have me. I plan to still do the occasional shoot, but maybe with just my camera phone, like in this thread, "Marien Gives Up The Soles." Plus, I will still do the odd custom job. Just because I'm closing down The Fair doesn't mean I still won't appreciate ladies' feet. So look for me to contribute as much as I can going forward.

Is there anything you'd like to say in closing to your fans and models who have supported your sites, or worked with you over the years?
Words of gratitude simply aren't enough, but just know that you're in my heart forever.
